| The goal of Foothills
Forage Association is to assist producers in the profitable and
environmentally sustainable production of forage.
FFA's objective is to provide an information network within
the forage industry and to be instrumental in the transfer of all
information within the industry to producers.
FFA is governed by a Board of Directors elected from the
general membership, and is advised by two ex-officio directors.
The activities of the association cover all aspects affecting
the industry, including liaison with other forage related associations
and government departments.
Foothills Forage is an industry
association dedicated to the profitable production of forage with the
following objectives:
- To provide opportunities for an
information network between producers, agribusiness, extension and
education representatives
- To increase producer skills and
knowledge in the production and utilization of forages
- To enhance the image of forages by
promoting the economic and conservation benefits of forage
Foothills Forage has two categories
of membership.
Producers Members
- Any individual or firm who produces forage.
Affiliate Member
- Any individual or firm that supplies goods or services to the forage
industry.
